New Hymnbooks

You are invited to contribute to the purchase of new hymnbooks for our parish!
In 2022, the Anglican Church of Canada published Sing a New Creation, a supplement to Common Praise (1998). Designed for use in many congregations and musical traditions, this supplemental volume includes new hymns and songs that do not appear in Common Praise, nor in any of the hymnals in the U.S. Episcopal Church. In addition to many traditional-looking hymns, Sing a New Creation includes: short songs, songs that can be taught and sung “paperlessly,” lead sheets, and songs from around the globe. At St. John’s, we will continue to sing from Common Praise and we’ll expand our repertoire with this new hymnbook.

To contribute towards the purchase of these books, please complete the form below (make sure to click 'submit'!) and send an e-transfer to [email protected] (no security question required).

Alternatively, click HERE to download a copy of the form which you can print and fill out and return to us by mail with an accompanying cheque, or simply place in the collection plate on any Sunday.
